In 2023 we started to run some workshops with Huyen of Textile Linker fame. She teamed up with Thuy who founded Chie Dù Pù Dù Pà in Hang Trong street to run craft workshops. Huyen is busy with many of her own projects at the moment but we are starting to run workshops again with Chie. For December we are making christmas decorations such as stars, Xmas trees etc. – same workshop as this time last year.
We start with a short intro talk about the ethnic minority fabrics and textiles and then immerse ourselves in a creative morning hand sewing (doesn’t matter if you are a skilled sewer or a novice) 3 different forms of Christmas decorations to hang on Christmas trees or give away as presents.
