One aspect of Vietnamese culture that has deeply routed traditons and rituals is the funeral process and the steps involved in honouring the dead soul. The rituals reflect Vietnamese spiritual beliefs and cultural practices, guiding the family and community through a series of respectful steps
Dr Trần Đoàn Lâm will explain many of the steps including cleansing, setting up the altar, the role played by the fortune teller, musical bands, the coffin, the burial process and the steps to be taken in the months and years that follow.
