Hanoi City Walk (ENG): South of the Supreme People’s Court

A brand new city walk
Intentionally placed side by side with Hỏa Lò Prison, the Supreme People’s Court with its imposing facade and magestic building continues to serve as a reminder of the brutality of French colonialism. However, the areas around it and down south reveal more than this. including a former market known for business ethics, villas belonging to rising Vietnamese upper middle class and a popular park built by hundreds of youth during the post-war period. This walk will feature a bit more of the architecture and stories of the buildings (we’ll visit a lot).
