Traditional Beliefs and Religions
Vietnamese spiritual and religious practices stem from and include a wide variety of historical influences which have become amalgamated into what we can observe both at temples and pagodas; and on the streets and in the festivals of Vietnam. Through a series of lectures and visits to important sites, we will attempt both to unravel some of the threads of these pratices, and to understand better the unified whole of Vietnamese traditional beliefs and religions.
