Craft workshop (p.m): hanging decorations ethnic minority textiles
Since 2023 we have teamed up with Chie to run 1 craft workshop a month on a Saturday or Sunday (a.m or p.m) aiming to make one product from the shop. Some things are too hard so we stick with something that can be made in a few hours. We have probably made most things now so we are repeating some of the previous workshops. Craft workshop (a.m): the different faces of Tuồng (on clay)
The past few years we have run a workshop with Linh and Nhung (2 artists from the Fine Arts University) based on the face painting tradition of Tuồng theatre. Tuồng is often referred to as classical Vietnamese opera; it is different to other genre of Vietnamese theatre such as Chèo.
